Let us have a look at my favourite 7 places to see in India.
It is the most frequently visited city in India, since it is home to some of the most beautiful eternal tokens of love- The Taj Mahal. It is a spectacular monument and a resilient Indian icon. This white domed marble tomb is also one of the seven wonders of the world. It is a very well-known tourist circuit in India. Some of the other popular places of the city include Akbar’s tomb, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Sikandar Fort and Ram Bagh.
The city of Amritsar, located in Punjab is the holy city of the Sikh religion as it’s main attraction is the beautiful and revered Golden Temple. This temple was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh and is made up of white marble, gold leaf and bronze. Other major tourist attractions include The Jallianwala Bah, Durgiana Temple and India-Pakistan Border.
Jaipur and Udaipur
An extravagant showcase Rajasthan’s architecture, the vibrant capital of the city is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’. Jaipur also known as the Pink City gives an insight into the rich heritage and artistic traditions of the city. ‘Hawa Mahal’ located in Jaipur, devised in the form of the crown of Lord Krishna is an exquisite palace which draws visitors from all around the world. The Lake Place of Udaipur is also another breathtaking palaces in the world.
The alluring backwaters, the enchanting waterfalls, the mesmerizing hill stations and the calm atmosphere makes this city a favored tourist destinations. Its backwaters comprise of a chain of lakes and lagoons which run parallel to the Arabian Sea. A cruise in the home boats gives visitors an exciting and extraordinary chance to experience the greenery and beauty of the surrounding areas and villages.
