Florida and Theme Parks, a Match Made in Heaven

If you are planning on taking your family to Florida then one of the toughest decisions which you’ll need to make is which of the many amazing theme parks should you visit. Of course if time and money are not an issue, you should of course do them all. For the  majority of us however, a family trip to Florida can hit us pretty hard in the pocket and so you will more than likely have to be selective about which theme parks you put on your list. To give you a hand in terms of which theme parks are the best, here are the top 3 that I would recommend you visit as you spend your holiday in Florida.

Walt Disney World

A list such as this would be impossible to make without the theme park which raised the bar that theme parks all over the world have been trying to reach ever since, Disney. The very word itself conjures up magic and excitement and that is exactly the kind of vibe you will get when you walk through those gates. This resort comprises of 4 theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Depending on how much time and money you have, I would of course recommend doing them all as each offers a truly unique Disney experience. Whether you like adrenalin-rides, child-friendly amusements, animals or getting behind the Disney movies themselves, this is the perfect theme park for your family.

Universal Studios

Universal Studios has been wowing guests for years as they step into their favourite movies for film-based rides which will blow you away. The theme park regularly changes its rides and attractions depending on which movies are hot, whilst retaining some of the all-time classics which people have become accustomed to. This is a theme park which all of the family will enjoy with a range of rides, amusements, interactive exhibitions and film characters wandering around the park. Universal has got even bigger too with the opening of Islands of Adventure which is on the same complex as Universal itself. This second theme park is where you’ll find the world famous Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a must visit experience which the whole family will love.

Sea World

Many think that Sea World is more of an aquarium than a theme park but this simply isn’t the case. Whilst the main attraction in the park may be the dolphin, whale and sea-lion shows, there is much more to the park than just that. Throughout Sea World in Florida you will find many aquatic-themed rides, educational exhibitions and plenty of chances to get yourself wet! Expect to spend no more than a day at a Sea World, and get there early so that you can ensure you have tickets to some of the very best shows.
